Born in 1981 in South-West of France from a horseracing family, with his dad a breeder and his brother a trainer, Nicolas started with agriculture studies, specialized in horseracing.  

 

He worked alongside some of the most influential leaders of the thoroughbred industry around the globe, either in breeding, racing, training or at the sales. Exploring the breeding sector, he started with two years in Normandy, France working at Haras de Fresnay-le-Buffard and Haras du Mezeray, before flying to the other side of the Channel sea to work at Shadwell Stud. In the UK, he also joined the team of trainer Luca Cumani as a pupil assistant. 

 

Nicolas travelled down-under to Australia and New-Zealand for a year, working for renowned Coolmore Stud, Arrowfield Stud, Windsor Park Stud and Waikato Stud. He also explored the sales industry working for Australian leading sales agency Magic Millions before heading to the USA at Lane’s End Farm. 

 

Rich of a complete immersion in the industry, dealing with different international approaches, activities and work methods in depth, he launched MANDORE INTERNATIONAL AGENCY in 2007 when coming back to France. 

 

​His bloodstock agency has built up a reputation as one of the most successful agency in France and internationally, having a large number of clients on all sides of the globe. He works closely with some of the most renowned professionals depending on each horse, and travels all around the planet to unearth the next champions.
Since 2020, MANDORE INTERNATIONAL AGENCY has settled in Deauville, one of the two horse capitals in France. 

 

Recognized for a sharp eye, a meticulous approach brought to each project and excellent results both on the track and at the stud, Nicolas has also developed in 2012 a range of premium services under the impulse of his wife Meryl. Passionate about horses and horseracing, this former show jumping rider manages administrative duties on behalf of clients, as well as events management and daily reports with clients and partners.
